Mahila Diwas – International Women’s Day
International Women’s Day 8 March 2018: In the celebration of women entitled to equal rights, equality and respect, the organization of “Sri Jnan Gangotri Vikas” organized a program. The discussion was organized by the institution on the subject entitled to equal rights of safety, equality and respect to women in the program. The program was chaired by the founder of “Sri Dnyanon Gangotri Development”, Shri Bhai B. K. Lion’s The women took part in the program. At the same time many dignitaries participated in the program and shared their experience on the theme of the discussion.
Work is being done at the grassroots level to educate the women and small girls of the poor sections of the society. Shri Gyan Gangotri Vikas Sansthan has always tried to improve the quality in less than the resources. This institution has seen many fluctuations in its 20 year journey but never strayed from its purpose. The “daughter country power” program is being organized by the organization. Under this program, the Sewing-Embroidery, Beauty-Parlor and Computer Training Center are operating to make women self reliant. Petronet L.G., while saluting this celebration of the institution. Foundation today gave away 20 sewing machine grants to the Sri Jnan Gangotri Vikas Sanstha in the occasion of International Women’s Day. At the same time Petronet’s manager (CSR) Ashutosh Verma and Nancy Budhiraja also encouraged the institution. He said that this institution is working on the problem of women and employment which is very much appreciated. Nancy Budhiraja has also talked about giving the computer in the future to the institution. Actually, Sri Jnan did the work of wings of the flying flight of the Gangotri Development Institute.

In the program, Deep Sudhakar, Rita Meshram, Sarita, social activist Narayana, Poonam, Dilshad, Tannu, Komal, Kusum all took part in the program and enhanced the beauty of the program. In the program, Sarita said that it is time to break women’s old traditions and make their own identity in society. Today, women need to be aware of their rights so that they can play an important role in the development of the society and the country. Rita Meshram, a student disciple of social work from Balaghat (MP) in the program, said, “We do not need any special days to honor women. He further said that women have always been entitled to equal equality in society and today they should get the right. The program ended with the National Anthem. On the other hand, Trainee journalist Deep Sudhakar, who came from Bihar, tried to honor the women through the lines of his poetry. The line of poetry is as follows: –
“बन सक्ती हैं ये भी कलाम, धोनी और राकेश शर्मा, आज़ादी से इनको भी चूमने दो गगन बनकर एक मैना।”
